Adolescent Directory On-line: Adolescence Directory On-Line is an electronic guide to information on adolescent issues. It is a service of the Center for Adolescent Studies at Indiana University. Educators, counselors, parents, researchers, health practitioners, and teens can use ADOL to find Web resources for these topics.
American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry: Between 7 and 12 million American youth suffer from mental, behavioral, or developmental disorders at any given time. The AACAP is the leading national professional medical association dedicated to treating and improving the quality of life for children, adolescents, and families affected by these disorders.
International Association for Adolescent Health: The IAAH website is for those who are interested in enhancing the well being of the youth of the world. It offers you worldwide information pertaining to issues of adolescent health, aiming to provide you with relevant information, links and details of conferences held by IAAH and other organisations.
Society for Adolescent Medicine: SAM is a multi-disciplinary organization of health professionals who are committed to advancing the health and well-being of adolescents. SAM members come from many different professional disciplines but share the common goal of better understanding the unique health needs and concerns of adolescents.
Society for Research on Adolescence: The SRA is a dynamic, multidisciplinary, international organization dedicated to understanding adolescence through research and dissemination.
Trust for the Study of Adolescence (UK charity): TSA was founded in 1989 to help improve the lives of young people and families. Their work is derived from the belief that there is a lack of knowledge and understanding about adolescence and young adulthood.
